My Name is Michelle Hartman; I have been in health care for more than thirty years. I am a dually board certified in Family Practice and Psychiatry-mental health. I am from Southeastern Iowa. I received my Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Southeastern Community College and my Bachelor of Science of Nursing (BSN) from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant Iowa.
I spent 9 years in the Army reserves as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and then I joined the Air force and completed 3 years of active duty service. After completed my time in the Air force I went back to college and completed my graduate degree and received my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Fronter Nursing University in Hyden Kentucky as a Family Nurse Practitioner and completed my Post-Master’s Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Maryville University St Louis Missouri. I look forward to being a part of Young House Behavioral Health as a behavioral health clinician.
While I was in the Army Reserves and on Active Duty I spent time traveling to Germany and across the United States with my Family. I am a mother of seven children. My children are all grown and now I have grandchildren to spoil with more on the way with 2 cats and one dog. I enjoy spending time with my family camping and fishing.
